| Abstract:
Ten plum cultivars were investigated to study their drought resistance. The water retaining potential of the leaves, their resistance toward high temperature, water deficiency and total content of water in the leaves were determined. On the basis of the obtained data the cultivars Late winter blackthorn, Arda, Gabrovska and Kyustendilska sinia were identified as unresisting to drought. Nevena, Vitanova and elite N 918 were drought resistant. Strinava, Blufri and elite N 8364 were of middle drought resistance. | |
