Abstract:
The method for non-destructive calculation of egg quality parameters such as shell thickness, shell weight to surface area ratio, and shell strength is proposed.
For their estimation an egg should be weighed, its length, volume and/or long circumference have to be measured.
In some cases the non-destructive elastic deformation is also used in calculations.
The formulae for estimation of the quality parameters of an egg are deduced for every flock from the data of destructive investigation of the variables of the small sample of eggs.
