ISHS Acta Horticulturae 474: III International Symposium on Olive Growing

RESPONSE OF OLIVE TREES TO VARYING LEVELS OF N AND K FERTILIZERS

Authors:   A. Jasrotia, R.P. Singh, J.M. Singh, V.P. Bhutani
Keywords:   Trunk cross section area, Canopy volume, Leaf area
Abstract:
The increasing levels of N resulted in a significant increment in growth and productivity of olive trees whereas a similar increase in K2O levels resulted in a marginal increase in different growth and production parameters. It was concluded that application of 750 g N and 500 g K2O tree-1 was optimum for getting higher growth and yield of olive trees.
