Abstract:
The tulip race and the daffodil race of Ditylenchus dipsaci could be crossed by putting a female of one and a male of the other race in a daffodil leaf.
The offspring of a female of the tulip race and a male of the daffodil race multiplied in tulip leaves and bulbs, that of the reciprocal cross in tulip leaves but not in bulbs.
Both multiplied in daffodil.
