Abstract:
Cultivation systems were investigated for Allium victorialis L. ssp. platyphyllum Hult., a perennial wild plant in the Allium genus.
The plant had previously limited usage because of limited knowledge of its growth and propagation.
The effective cultivation systems of A. victorialis were proved by the field production and several propagation practices that involved seed, vegetative propagation and in vitro culture.
This report represents that the cultivation systems may increase the possibilities for A. victorialis to be an appreciated and better recognized vegetable crops.
