Abstract:
CALOVIT is a special product that stimulates cambial activity and it is used for increasing the take-off graft grape vine cuttings. The best method for applying it, consists in soaking the grafted cuttings or the bundle of grafted cuttings, upside down, for 1–2 seconds in a diluted aqueous solution of CALOVIT. Treatments with bioregulators of type “CALOVIT” promote rapid proliferation of the soldering tissue between graft and stock and at the basal end of grafted cutting. The bioregulator is one of the essential factors for cellular multiplication. In all tested variants the influence of bioregulator on percent circular callus is very significant as to untreated control.

The results of macroscopic determinations performed after harvesting confirm the treatment's efficiency with bioregulators in promoting the formation of soldering tissue and rooting of grafted cuttings. The variants with bioregulator are represented by superior values of standard vines percent as to untreated control.
