NEW ASPECTS IN FOLIAR DRESSING AND PLANT PROTECTION FOR POTATOES

Authors:   N. Shaaban, I. Manolov, B. Velev
Keywords:   Lactofol "k", weed control, pesticides, sequential and mixed application
Abstract:
The best weed control effect to annual weeds for mid-early growing potato is attained by the mixed application of Lactofol "k" with decreased doses of sencor and fusilade. The effect is equal to sequential application of lactofol "k" and optimal herbicide doses. Sequential and mixed application of lactofol "k" with decreased pesticide doses in particular prevents damage of the Potato plants and enhances the positive effects on insects and diseases control. A higher yield is obtained by the use of foliar dressing with lactofol "k" combined with lower pesticide doses (25%) and (50%) the decrease of mineral nitrogen.
