Abstract:
The aim of this study is to determine the adaptation of mungbean varieties in Tokat / Turkey conditions.

In this study, 5 mungbean varieties, VC 3945 A, VC 4176 and VC 3746 and VC 3301 A and VC 2768 A, were examined on 4 different sowing periods, May 1, May 15, June 1 and June 15, during the years of 1992–1993

The outcome of this study showed that the best yield was obtained from VC 3301 A variety on the May 15 sowing period in both years of 1992 and 1993. At the same time 4 mungbean varieties gave sufficient yield on the other sowing periods. But, on the June 15 sowing period maturing of mungbean was late.
