Abstract:
The experiment was carried out in Skierniewice on a soil which can be characterized as a lessive type, ryeland complex and low humus.
The growth, yield, weight per berry and the nutrient concentrations in leaves of grape cvs.
Aurora and Schuyler as influenced by fertilization and liming were investigated.
The data were collected during three year period: 1992–1995. Mineral fertilizers and lime have been applied to the soil in the same rates since 1923.
The best plant growth and highest yield were recorded on soil with CaNPK application as well as without nitrogen (CaPK) or phosphorus fertilization (CaKN). Plants grown on the plots without calcium application (NPK) on the very acid soil (pH KCl 3,7) gave a satisfactory yield.
Significant reduction of growth and yield was recorded on plots without potassium fertilization (CaPN).
