Authors:   E. Giovannini, C.I. Nogueira, J.C. Fráguas, A. Miele
Abstract:
Aiming to evaluate nutritional status of vineyards, this work was carried out, during the growing season of 1993/94. Twelve representative 'Cabernet Sauvignon' (Vitis vinifera L.) vineyards in the Serra Ga cha region in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil were chosen. Samples of leaves and petioles were taken in these vineyards to survey nutritional status according to the methods used in California, South Africa and Michigan. The method used in California classified all vineyards in adequate nutritional status for P, K, Mg, Mn and Zn, and all of them below this level for B. The South African method classified all the vineyards in good nutritional status with regard to P and B. The Michigan method classified all vineyards as well nourished in B. Mg and Mn, and over nourished in K, Mg and Cu.
