Abstract:
‘Aguanueva II’ is a mutant of ‘Golden Delicious’ for places with low chilling acumulation, like Chapingo, Mex.
The aim of this experiment was to evaluated the response of fertilization (N 40–160, P 0–60 and K 0–40 kg/ha) on vegetative, reproductive growth and the nutrimental content in the tree.
In an orchard with space between plant of 3 m and between rows 4 m was evaluate for three years.
The application of N with high rates promoted more vegetative growth, although the high rates of P and K did not show a regular effect on flowering.
In the presentation will be discuss the nutrimental content of leaves, buds and shoots during all the trial.
