In this research, cherry orchards which were shown severe deficiency and die back of the trees were taken under examination.
The analyses done in the leaves, which are taken in the period of maturity, were Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu and B. At the same time physycal and chemical features of the soil samples were determined.
According to the results of leaf analyses, total iron content of leaves were found between 66 and 279 ppm, manganese between 10 and 81 ppm, zinc 10 and 33 ppm, copper between 5 and 98 ppm and boron between 21 and 61 ppm was also found.
Manganese and zinc deficiencies at levels of 80 and 56 percent were found in the studied orchards.
From the point of view of the other elements were not seen any problem.
