| Abstract:
Colchicum autumnale L (Colchicaceae) is a cormous plant of pharmaceutical interest owing to the alkaloids that accumulates in the seeds, mainly colchicine and colchicoside. We try to ameliorate its poor reproduction thus increasing the growth of the in vitro cultured cormlets by the use of paclobutrazol, an inhibitor of the gibberellins biosynthesis. | |
