| Abstract:
Microcalli of more than 60 cells were obtained directly from leaf mesophyll of 6 species and varieties in the genus Actinidia: A. arguta var. arguta, A. arguta purpurea, A. arguta var. Issäï, A. deliciosa, A. kolomikta and A. polygama. The first electrofusion attempts between A. kolomikta and A. polygama succeeded and cell divisions in fused protoplasts occurred after one week in culture. | |
