SIMULATION OF THERMAL ENVIRONMENT IN PLANT FACTORY BY USING MATHEMATICAL MANIPULATION SYSTEM

Abstract:
Mathematical manipulation system is used to reduce the labor for programming model of thermal environment. Energy budget of plant factory is modeled by using Mathcad (Mathsoft Inc.) and temperatures and energy fluxes are also measured. The result of the measurement and the simulation are compared and both generally agree well. It is shown that the use of the system is efficient method for the modeling. The method is also considered to be effective for the educational purposes.
