| Abstract:
A multi-mode and multi-purpose greenhouse system, designated as HMGS (Hybrid Mini Greenhouse System) is described. The HMGS lends itself for use as a closed or open ecosystem for seedling plug production, CELSS, aquaculture, biotechnology, and plant factories. Its aerodynamic design enables it to withstand wind, rain and snow storms, and its cost is about one-tenth of that of a conventional greenhouse. The HMGS should be useful for both developing and industrialized countries. | |
