ISHS Acta Horticulturae 44: IX International Symposium on Fruit Tree Virus Diseases

VEGETATIVE DISORDERS IN THE JAPANESE PLUM TREES ON MYROBALAN ROOTSTOCK IN THE PROVINCE OF VALENCIA (SPAIN)

Authors:   J.A. Sánchez-Capuchino, J.B. Forner
Abstract:
Japanese plum trees and apricot trees with severe vegetative disorders have been observed.

The phenomenon shows a tendency to occur in grouped trees. The plum trees are more tolerant than the apricot trees.

The characteristics of the vegetative disorders of the Japanese plum trees are discussed, indicating that, most probably, they are caused by the apricot chlorotic leaf roll virus.
