Abstract:
Strawberry fruits used for research were from experimental cultivation under protection, (1) from soil cultivation in a plastic tunnel and (2) from a greenhouse on a bench construction with bags filled with peat and bark.
For both combinations plants were watered by a drip irrigation system and the moisture tension was maintained at -0.03 MPa.
In each combination different fertigation was used.
Fruits were examined when ripe.
The influence of different cultivation factors on the content of extract, ascorbic acid, acids, firmness, size and form of fruits was examined.
The results showed that cultivation factors had a significant influence on the quality of fruits.
Fruits from the 1st combination were better than from the 2nd combination.
