| Abstract:
The following cultivars of strawberries were examined: Elsanta, Honeoye, Kent, Kama, Real and Syriusz. The yield and the size of fruits were evaluated at each harvest over a 3 year period while grown intensively in the soil under plastic tunnels. The majority of the cultivars yielded best in the 2nd year of cultivation. The yield in the 3rd year of cultivation was higher than the yield in the 1st year. Fruits of most cultivars were bigger in the 2nd year of cultivation, the fruits of some cultivars were significantly smaller in the 3rd year. | |
