| Abstract:
An application if the cactus pear "filière" analysis in the Italian context and with specific regards to the cultivation in Sicily, the main producing region, has been developed by the authors. Production and marker aspects - the strong and weak points of the sector - are particularly pointed out. The study is concluded by illustrating the results of a survey carried our upon a sample of consumers in seven Italian cities in order to estimate the potentiality of the market demand and the tendency to purchase the product. | |
