| Abstract:
The serological test is currently the method of choice for diagnosis and detection of tospoviruses in plants and thrips. Detection of tospoviruses with various serological tests suggests several species and/or serogroups of tospoviruses. Procedures developed to purify tospoviruses for antiserum production and serological techniques used to identify tospoviruses are described and reviewed in this paper. | |
