| Abstract:
Since 1990 integrated bulb production prototype farming systems are being tested at two research locations for specialized bulb production on marine sandy soils. At a third location this production method is being tested for bulb production on heavier soils. Integrated bulb production pursues a combination of strategies to reduce the use of pesticides and fertilizers in order to reduce pollution of the environment to a sustainable way of production on an economical basis. | |
