Abstract:
Grafting is a widespread usual technique in viticulture to overcome pathological or soil problems but limited attention is generally paid to the effect of the partners interaction on the grafted plant physiology that can influence the root-canopy balance and the dry matter partition.
An experiment was carried out in order to study the effect of the grafting and the interaction of different partners on the growth of young plants of two Vitis vinifera varieties grown in pots.
