Abstract:
Twenty-two wild species of rose are being analyzed by using isozymes and RAPD markers.
Each 10-base-long arbitrary primer produced a specific DNA banding pattern that grouped plants belonging to the same species and botanical sections as predicted from their genetic background.
The relationships among the different species and the genetic distances are well inferred from our data.
