Abstract:
Endogenous cytokinins were studied in rose petals during flower vase-life.
They were quantitatively estimated by ELISA in HPLC eluates corresponding to the standards: Z, ZR, 2iP and 2iPA.
During rose vase-life the cytokinin contents evolved.
In the freshly cut rose buds the 2iP-group was more abundant than that of the Z-group, whilst petals of the open and wilting roses were richer in the Z-group cytokinins.
