HYBRID FERTILITY IN DIFFERENT CROSSES OF ANIGOZANTHOS MANGLESII |

| Abstract:
Fertility in different interspecific and intraspecific crosses of A. manglesii was studied. It was measured as the rate of seed setting of the crosses and by seed yield per cross. In the interspecific crosses of A. manglesii seed yield in different cross combination ranged from zero to 280 seeds per cross. Most of intraspecific crosses showed low fertility except some of A. viridis x A. manglesii crosses that yield up to 280 seeds per cross. | |
