The important increase of protected cultivation of vegetables in the mediterranean regions can be accounted for by technical and economic reasons. Among the technical problems in these countries must be mentioned: sowing and planting, choice of varieties, fertilisation, growing of plants, pest control and rational use of shelters. | |
