THE ACTIVITIES OF ACSAD OF PISTACHIO STUDIES IN DRY LANDS

Abstract: Since 1972, ACSAD was established. The developing of fruit tree plantations in dry lands was one of its studies. The experiments carried out on pistachio nut tree have two aims; Studies and research which has been carried out by ACSAD at its stations in Syria (table 1). The cooperation between ACSAD and arabic countries to solve the problems of pistachio plantations in dry and semi-dry lands.
