EFFECT OF GIBBERELLIN AND OTHER TREATMENTS ON SEED GERMINATION OF PISTACIA SPECIES |

| Abstract:
A comparative method was described and applied for the germination of Pistacia vera L., Pistacia khinjuk Stoke, and Pistacia atlantica Desf. Unhulled split P. vera seeds were soaked in water for 14 days at room temperature then sowed. P.khinjuk and P. atlantica seeds, after removing green nut hulls were soaked in 100 ppm GA solution for 7 days before sowing. With the methods described, more than 95% germination was obtained from these three species. | |
