| Abstract:
Dole TropiFresh is a division of Dole Food Company producing vegetables, cut flowers and tropical fruits in the Philippines for export markets. TropiFresh begun asparagus cultivation trials on the island of Mindanao in 1987. Commercial plantings were begun in 1990 and have expanded each year to 950 hectares in 1993 and 1,000 hectares next year. | |
