| Abstract:
To select pollenless genotypes, crosses among three pollenless selections and nine fertile cultivars selected at Pescia and four fertile cultivars from Beltsville were made in 1992. In 1994 the percentage of plants that flowered was very low. However, several plants that form flowers without pollen ("pollenless") and others with empty pollen sac or with a little pollen were selected. | |
