Abstract:
The research was carried out at the Regional Agricultural Research Centre, Sebha, Libya on 16 December 1990 on three different grape varieties (Cardinal, Alphonse Lavallee, and Sultanina). The varieties were pruned at a weekly intervals.
The results indicated that there was a significant difference between varieties and treatments, especially weight of bunches and weight of bunch per vine.
The results also indicated that there were variable responses in the number of fruits per branches, length of bunch, length of shoots, and the number of leaves in each variety.
