In Portugal there are no phytosanitary problems that prevent the cultivation of brassicas. The main phytosanitary problems are mentioned and attention is drawn to those that can be controlled by soil solarization. The potential of solarization is emphasized as a great contribution to integrated pest management, biological agriculture and environment protection. | |
