| Abstract:
This paper provides a summary of recent advances in understanding the biology of Plasmodiophora brassicae. It describes current areas of research which are likely to advance significantly our understanding of the interaction between P.brassicae and its hosts, and suggests some other areas of research which may provide further insight into the biology of P.brassicae. The emphasis is on genetic aspects of the host-pathogen interaction. Research into biological and chemical methods of control are not discussed. | |
