Abstract:
The content of free polyamines (putrescine, spermidine and spermine) was studied in the plant and organs of Brassica rapa during growth-stages.
The putrescine level reduced in the stem and roots after the seedling phase, whereas in the leaves and shoot this occurred after the rosette phase.
In the plant the concentration is at maximum during the rosette phase and minimum during the seed stage.
The spermidine and spermine showed similar developments.
