Abstract:
Lack of means to control the process of postharvest feeding of cut flowers, is suggested as a cause for the undesirable variable quality results that is typical after postharvest treatments.
Monitoring the added components in the flower buds is suggested as a way to control the process, aiming at achieving a uniform high quality.
The credibility of such an approach is being discussed.
