Abstract:
This paper reports the study on five genetic tendencies of cold resistance, fruit size (weight), quality, mature period and storability of six related hybrid combinations F1 F2 among nine apple species and varieties. This study uses biometry method to calculate and analyze data among 579 samples, the results show: the above five characters of hybrid progeny F1 which is crossed each other by big apple and little apple and hybrid progeny F2 which is crossed each other by big apple and F1 are all variable effected by little apple. Comparing F2 with F1 the cold resistance decreases obviously; though the fruit size (weight) is effected strongly by little apple, but it is still improved clearly, the average increasing value is 39.72 g, the variation is extreme significant; most mature periods are mid-late or late; the storability is improved clearly too, but most of it are still bad and in medium state.
