Abstract:
Nine isozyme systems were analyzed with the progenies derived from Huanong Bendizao (Citrus reticulata Blance) x Ichang papeda (C. ichangensis Swingle) and Pummelo (C. grandis osbeck) x H10 (one hybrid of the former cross combination) by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
Thirteen isozymes, i.e.
PER-2, GOT-1, GOT-2a, GOT-2b, GOT-2c, PGI-1, PGM-1, PGM-2, SKDH, 6-PGD SOD-2, AMY-2 and EST-2 were considered to be controlled by single genes based on their zymogram seqregation in the progenies.
Linkage analysis of the nine isozyme loci segregating in F1 hybrids of Pummelo x H10 revealed that five pairs of these ioci, i. e.
Per/Got-2c, Per2/Amy-2, Got-2a/Amy-2, Got-2c/Amy-2 and Sod-2/Est-2 were linked, with per-2, Got-2a, Got-2c and Amy-2 in one linkage group and Sod-2, Est-2 in another,
