| Abstract:
"Green Delicious" was bred by use of "Gold Delicious" as female parent crossing "Yellow Transparent" as male parent in 1966. Planting in west part of Qinghai and Caidrmu basin get results of cold resistant and tolerant to drought. Fruit are large of middle large size, higher quality and is a higher and stable fruit yield production variety. "Green Delicious" was determined to be a popularizing variety after approved in 1992. By now, cold middle reaches of Huangshui river and Caidrmu Basin in Qinghai province, Inner Mongolia and Mudajiang area in HeiLongjiang province has grown more than 50,000 trees of "Green Delicious". | |
