| Abstract:
Over the last years, through main trait identification of many plum and apricot germplasm resources, We not only have understood the range of variability and the criteria of evaluation of main traits of plum and apricot germplasm resources in China, but also have screened out many superior germplasm resources, such as very early ripe types, large size fruit types, large & sweet kernel types, high soluble solids contenttypes, high sugar contenttypes, high sugar content types, high acid content types, high Vc content types, high firmness of flesh types, adaptive types for processing, rare polyploid plums and apricots and so no. In this paper, we introduced these germplasm resources briefly in order to provide fine fresh market or processing cultivars for production, to provide parents and materials for breeders or scientists. | |
