THE PROGRESSESS OF STUDING ON THE OF MALE-STERILE INHERITANCE AND HYBRID BREEDING IN CHINESE RADISH

Abstract:
Radish crops [Raphanus Sativus L] grow widely in the world. The little radish classified as [R. sativus var. radiculus Pers] plant maily in Europe and America. In the Asia, however, most of the countries prefer to grow chinese radish [R. Sativus L. var. longipinnatus Bailey] in classification. The heterosis of radish is very striking. The great progresses of selecting male-sterile lines and hybrid breedling of radish have been made in China by applying the rich-genetic resources. The progresses of law of male-sterile inheritance and hybrid breeding of radish are described below.
