STUDY ON HUNAN LOCAL BITTER GOURD (MONORDICA CHARANTIA L.) VARIETY RESOURCE |

| Abstract:
There is very richbitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.) variety resource in Hunan Province, China, Some of them, such as Zhuzhou Changbai, Lanshan Dabai and Haisheng, are famoud varieties and planted widely in china. In order to learn the characters of these varieties, the agronomic characters and nutrient quality of 35 Hunan local bitter gourd varieties were studied and compared in 1990–1991.
