BREEDING OF INTERACTIVE GENIC MALE STERILE LINE 88–1A IN CHINESE CABBAGE |

| Abstract:
The dominant sterile gene Sp and the epistatic dominant fertile gene Ms were discovered in local chinese cabbafe varity "Wangquan green stalk" in 1976. Then, type A of dual purpose line (amphi-line) AB158 and type B of fertile line AB8102–1–7–1 were developed. Crossing type A of sterile plants (SpSpmsms) between type B of fertile plants Line (spspmsms) the interactive genic male sterile line 88–1A (SpSpmsms) was obtained. Both percentage of sterile plants and sterile degree of 88–1A were 100% and rated consistently under different cultivation couditions in various ecologcal regious. The hybrid F1 8801 which derived from materal line 88–1A had been tested 64900 Mu from 1989 to 1992. | |
