Abstract:
Over-strong winteriness individual plant that its bolting was the latest was selected from a great area seed production field of strong winteriness Chinese cabbage variety, Huang Dian Xin.
Overstrong winteriness system was bred by selecting strictly for three generations.
Its bolting was over 45 days later than general variety, and over 15 days later than original variety and strong winteriness variety such as Qing Ming Bai.
Materials of white flower, yellow seed and over-short node were found from the strong winteriness original materials that had been collected.
The result of cross experiment showed that the strongness and weakness of winteriness was quantitative character inheritance.
By estimating heritability, generalized heritability was 65.2%.
Youzhi No. 1, a new line of pleomorphism strong winteriness, was bred by polycross, enough crossing and recurrent selection.
The yield of Youzhi no. 1 was over 53% higher than control, and compact head, high quality.

The yield of two F1 hybrids which were produced by the line was over 16% higher than Jin Cai no. 3, F1 hybrid of major local cultivar.
