| Abstract:
The method of analysis of expanded clay used in Germany tests for soluble salts and the salt components which are leached from the substrate even after extended periods. Apparently a number of substances, which can cause plant damage, are not detected adequately. Therefore as an addition to the chemical analysis a biassay is proposed, using Impatiens New-Guinea-Hybrids ‘Isis’. | |
