A rapid total nucleic acids (TNA) extraction method has been established and compared with the chromatography column technique (CF11). The rapid extraction method was able to reveal the presence of PLMVd on dPAGE and in Northern and slot blot hybridization techniques as well as the partially purified preparation on non ionic cellulose chromatography column. | |
