| Abstract:
A trial of 18 rootstocks for apricot cv. 'Sundrop' over nine years identified four rootstocks with commercial potential on the basis of tree performance, cumulative yield efficiency, tree health and absence of suckering. These included the most vigorous rootstock in the trial, 'Marianna 6.64', the current standard rootstock, peach cv. 'Golden Queen' seedling, Prunus armeniaca zailisky and the semi-dwarfing 'Marianna 9.52'. | |
