PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF FOLIAGE APPLIED PACLOBUTRAZOL ON CANINO AND PRECOCE DE COLOMER APRICOT CULTIVARS |

| Abstract:
This study was carried out to determine the effects of pp-333 (Cultar) on the vegetative and generative development of Canino and Precoce de Colomer apricots. PP-333 applications decreased the shoot length and increased the number of flower buds and yield in both cultivars. In the experiments 1000 ppm pp-333 seemed more effective on the reduction of shoot length, increasing the number of flower buds on 100 cm shoots, than the other concentrations and control. There were no considerable effects of the chemical on the fruit quality of the cultivars under experiment. | |
