Abstract:
Changes in the phenolic compounds of the shoot tips in resistant San Francesco, Boccuccia and susceptible Hacihaliloglu apricot varieties were investigated by thin layer chromatography.
The tannin content of the shoot tips showed significant differences according to the variety and this situation implied their role in disease resistance.
