| Abstract:
Within a hybridization program carried out at Ege University Department of Horticulture, nursery stocks comprising 3 parents and 25 cross combinations of 5 parents were planted in 1975. This trial was designed in 1992 as a preliminary study to investigate the genetic mechanism of important fruit traits. The fruit quality evaluation was carried out according to IBPGR. Progenies surpassing their parents were identified in terms of fresh fruit quality. | |
